DJ Stacey Cooks has been a lover and dreamer through the dance and music scene since the early 80's when she realized that when people danced they find their innate joy and happiness. She has spent the last 20+ years pulsing clubs and parties with the sounds and rhythms that move the body and free the mind. She began mentoring with DJ Susan Wiegardt in 1987 and soon she found herself dreaming in the dance lights and divas of Seattle's hottest women's clubs. Stacey began her career spinning at The QB Underground located in Pioneer Square where she played until 1988. People loved to buck and grind so much that they soon hired her as a resident DJ on Friday and Saturday nights at The Off Ramp/Eastlake East. They danced her ecstasy until 1991. Everyone wanted a piece of the hot club scene that flowed from her DJ booth so she then played the Vogue and Hamburger Mary's. She worked the floor at the Easy 'til 1995 when Las Vegas called with a resident gig at the sweet Gipsy, A thriving men's dance club. After a year in Vegas this hometown girl was called back.

When she got here she made the Timberline T-dance the hottest ticket in the city. You had to be there or you weren't alive. Her friend Michelle Waye brought Stacey an idea and they decided that if women were really going to have fun and hook up with other hot women they needed a place with hot, hot, hot, hot, music, women and good drinks. Together they established Girl4Girl which Stacey spun from 1999 to 2004. G4G is still rocking the soles of young women through the designs of Chris Chappon. A phenomenal party. Now you can find your pleasure to her beats at The Cuff, the premier men's club of Seattle.

In addition she is testing the flexibility for the women of Hot Flash, a twice month party for women who've got it all and want more.

In 1988 Stacey discovered the Northwest Dance Music Association as a way to get the hottest music before it was even out. She now holds the title of vice president, helping other DJ's get the music that makes their nights bigger, better and hotter.
